John McGlinchey started in the food service business in 1991 as a general employee for Festival Food Management in Philadelphia, PA. John moved through the ranks of this company into a management position and was the Warehouse Manager until 1997. In 1997 he moved to Liberty Concessions located in Laurel Springs, NJ to serve as Vice President. His responsibilities included scheduling and organizing each event from start to finish, the supervision of all employees, and the collection and accounting of all cash receipts. John stayed with this company until 2001.
Lori McGlinchey started in the food service business in 1991 as a general employee for Festival Food Management in Philadelphia, PA. She too work her way through the ranks of the company to hold the position of Personnel Director in 1993. Lori’s responsibilities included all activities related to personnel and the managing of special events. Lori stayed with this company until 2001.
In 2001 John and Lori McGlinchey founded Classic Concessions located in Bellmawr, NJ. Classic Concessions is a food service company that caters to the needs of special events and private functions. The company focuses on educating their staff. John is forklift certified. Lori and 4 other employees are certified by the state of Pennsylvania for food safety. Over the past five years they have been able to build a strong customer base that continues to grow.
In December of 2005 John and Lori purchased a similar company based in DeLand, FL. This company has allowed them to split their knowledge and concentrate on this new venture. John is in charge of operations for the new company based in Florida. Lori continues to expand their existing company in New Jersey.
Their original company, Classic Concessions, and their new company, Concession Concepts NJ Inc., continue to maintain excellent records with all of their insurance companies, vendors, and banking institutions.
